Kickstarting the Neos brand

Yep I agree.
So just to give input about this as I haven’t read through the whole discussion just what I see as core values of Neos or what I have experienced so far.

  • it really is a great community with extremely skilled people working on the products
  • it’s at the edge of technology
  • it makes life easier for editors and developers
  • I’m working with Flow for about three years now and I really love this thing so at least for me it’s also an emotional thing to some point.

Perhaps something like this?

I’m a server guy, not a graphics designer but you get the idea

I loose track on the brand subject … can we have a small recap of the current situation ?

We have moved our office to a new coworking space, and the owner of the place ( http://www.studiobanana.com/ ) work on branding / product building, maybe, if help is needed I can try to see if they interested in helping. Let me know.

They did a quiet creative and fun work for the Ostrich Pillow, see http://www.studiobanana.com/project/ostrichpillow/

Hey everybody

I have followed this thread guite some time and I guess that we are basically on the same page here. We need to develop a brand identity and at the same time we need to keep the momentum to keep on developing a great product. I got the feeling that the first step would be trying to articulate what is already there, emotionally, social and technical. This can be the base for other discussions to come.

As we want to relaunch neos.io with a new structure and design we used this as a vehicle to get the brand discussion started again. We created some questions that were answered by the community. The answers along with some more information will be handed over to an agency (ZWEI14) to create a basic and minimalistic visual identity for the new webpage, that can later easily adapt to branding changes.

This is how I did the questionaire:

  1. I received a list of questions from the agency, mostly market and brand related
  2. We reused some of their questions and added some more, we thought to be important
  3. The community answered the questions
  4. I removed redundant answers …
  5. and distilled some general themes as a summary

The result you can find here. I guess some discussion would be nice
Happy digging :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
