Continuing the discussion from Project proposal: Asset Privileges:

Currently a “bookmark RFC”

Goal

Move all entities from the Media package (currently doctrine entity) to the CR

With this change, we could not use TYPO3.Media anymore directly in a Flow application, without Neos…

  1. We will release a version X.Y (the last one based on doctrine entities, and you can continue to use this version)
  2. You don’t need Neos, but only the Content Repository, and we will provide tools for migration the DB

I am not even sure we should move every single model. I thought rather about tags and metadata, but lets discuss this…
