Hey everybody,
as you may have read, I am working (together with some others) on the event sourced Content Repository.
In order to share knowledge in the team & the community and to gain more momentum, we will
be doing some video hangouts & intro sessions:
Thursday (22.11.) 10:30-11:30 CET: Introduction to the Event Sourced Content Repository & Current State
No prior knowledge needed! I’ll show the concepts of the Event Sourced Content Repository, its main goals and give a rough overview over the code base. Of course it’s also the perfect place to ask questions
The stream will be recorded and published afterwards, so people can watch this asynchronously as well.
How to join: Just join the #project-cr-rewrite channel on slack.neos.io, where I’ll post the Hangout link on Thursday a bit before 10:30. For a better overview of the participants, please add your vote below.
- I’ll join the CR Introduction session
- I’d like to join the CR Introduction session, but I am unsure if I can make it
- I won’t be able to join the CR introduction session.

Thursday (22.11.) 09:15-10:30 CET: Pair Programming: recursive Show/Hide of nodes
@bwaidelich and myself will do a pair programming session before the introduction session; so if you already roughly know the concepts but want to get to know the code base, that’s the session to join
As a prerequisite, you should have a rough understanding about the core concepts.
The stream will be recorded and published afterwards, so people can watch this asynchronously as well.

Closing Thoughts
Would be great to see some of you on Thursday If you have further questions/remarks, just post here or in #project-cr-rewrite on Slack.
If this format turns out to be useful, we’ll aim for repeating this regularily
All the best, and hear you soon,
Sebastian
