Introduction
As announced in a few places already, we’re trying something new for the second track at Neos Con 2027. The idea is to make it more hands-on — more room for ideas, discussion, and exchange.
The second track won’t be recorded or streamed. That’s intentional. We want to create a safe space where open conversations can happen freely, and at the same time build an experience that only exists if you’re there in person.
Our proposal
Alongside the Neos in Action Talks and Lightning Talks, we’re planning to introduce - among other things - discussion sessions in a fishbowl format.
If you haven’t come across it before: in a fishbowl, a small group of people discuss a topic in the centre of the room, while everyone else listens and observes. Seats in the inner circle can rotate, so anyone can join the conversation. It’s a format that encourages deeper discussion without turning into an open free-for-all. (Fishbowl Conversation Technique | Skills Converged)
We’d love to see topics that matter to you and to the community - things that are relevant for the future of Neos and the people building with it.
Now it’s your turn
- What do you think of the idea and the format?
- Can you imagine moderating a session and/or bringing a topic to the table?
- Do you have topic ideas we can collect?
Feel free to share your thoughts, feedback and ideas right in the comments below, or reach out to Sebastian or Marika directly on Slack — we’d love to hear from you.
