As time goes by…
As you might know Facebook (them again!) open-sourced a richt-text editor framework called Draft.js. There are some nice packages that actually provide an editor UI around that and it’s no wonder that someone created a Medium-like experience including (nested) plugins with the Draft.js block concept (which is what we always thought of when envisioning the Neos editing UX). It’s called Megadraft and has some nice ideas for a very unobstrusive UI.

I like especially the idea of a very lightweight structured editing of nested elements. That still feels always a bit to heavy for me in Neos right now.
So maybe this is a nice inspiration to think about our editing UX and finding a new structured editing approach.
