This is a funding request for my work in the Neos marketing guild and basic website maintenance. The previous funding was until March 2026. This request would be for the remainder of 2026.
I’m spending on average 16h per month for the following topics. I’m always trying my best to time track all Neos things.
- the marketing weeklies and related calls
- writing blog posts & monthlies
- updating content on the website
- help facilitate and proof read other posts and articles (Philipps, articles on external media)
- service provider updates
- answering some of the emails to hello@neos.io
- marketing related workshops
- website fixes and maintenance (excluding rebrand project)
- push Neos core topics into a direction that help us with communicating the strengths of Neos to customers & agencies
The previous budget covered 10h / month, which is fine for me and which I would ask for again. I’m working a lot in the rebrand project, but there is a separate budget request for that.
I’m quite happy with what we achieved this year considering considering our limited time and possibilities. Also I’m looking forward to continue working with Marika and Philipp and others on the Neos agency guideline, neos.io.
Therefore I would like to request a funding for 10h per month for Q2-Q4 of 2026 → 8.000€.
More time can always be spent on marketing, but as I also work on many other Neos topics, so I would prefer to have a stronger marketing guild with other team members helping or taking over individual tasks.
I would be happy about any feedback regarding what we did and what I or we can do better, here or in Slack (#guild-marketing) or via dm
