This is a funding request for my work in the Neos marketing and website guilds as I cannot sustain investing the same amount of time anymore via my customer projects and sponsorships.
Since we restarted the marketing guild in April 2025 I’ve spent on average 16h per month the following main topics. I’m always trying my best to time track all Neos things.
- the marketing weeklies and related calls
- writing blog posts & monthlies
- help facilitate and proof read other posts and articles (Philipps, articles on external media)
- service provider updates
- marketing related workshops
- website fixes and maintenance
- excluding my work on the Neos 9 upgrade of neos.io together with Denny
- push Neos core topics into a direction that help us with communicating the strengths of Neos to customers & agencies
Until September I had a general Neos sponsorship by https://bitbetrieb.de for 6h per month, which I used for my marketing efforts but sadly now ended. Thx once again to them for this huge help!
So from April to September I had 60 unpaid hours and if I continue like this, another 48 hours in Q4 2025.
I’m quite happy with what we achieved this year considering considering our limited time and possibilities. Also I’m looking forward to continue working with Marika and Philipp and others on the Neos agency guideline, neos.io.
Therefore I would like to request a funding for half of the 108 hours for 2025 → 5.400€.
And for Q1 2026 I would like to request an advanced funding for 10h per month → 3.000€.
In sum 8.400€.
More time can always be spent on marketing, but as I also work on many other Neos topics, so I would prefer to have a stronger marketing guild with other team members helping or taking over individual tasks.
