when we implemented the Neos.Workspace.Ui for the Neos 9.0 release, we weren’t able to finish all the intended features, see Overhauled workspace module UX (Neos 9) · Issue #4255 · neos/neos-development-collection · GitHub . Especially the ACL management was half implemented and we had to revert it to be able to release a stable module. See also the issue FEATURE: Followup new Neos.Workspace.UI · Issue #5411 · neos/neos-development-collection · GitHub which lists also other features we had planned and were initially implemented in GitHub - Sebobo/Shel.Neos.WorkspaceModule: A workspace module alternative for Neos CMS .
I would like to finish the role assignment and management for the module based on the started change and if there should be time left, I would like tackle some of the other planned open tasks related to the workspace management in Neos instances with many editors and workspaces.
What is the plan?

Finish the role/group assignment functionality in the Neos.Workspace.Ui and have it ready for Neos 9.2.

Verify its functionality for users, so they can assign who is allowed to work in which workspace.

If time/budget remains, implement force deletion and other relevant features to manage many workspaces & users based on Shel.Neos.WorkspaceModule.
