Summary of the retro
After a short welcome we introduced the agenda:
Agenda
We shortly talked about the vegas rule and the prime directive.
Vegas rule
Prime directive
We opened the retrospective by everyone giving two words on what’s going on, in their minds, regarding the current day.
After that we had a look at all ToDos from last retro and found out that we took care of most of them. We recognized that we have improved here, but that we need to assign every task to a person.
We had a look at all things happening since the last retro in March 2017. We found out, that really many things were going on and that we achieved pretty much.
Color code for the timeline:
- Red: New team members
- Turquoise: Conference or Meet Neos
- Grass green: Sprints
- Purple: Meetups
- Spring green: Sprints
- Pink: Funding / CIC
Now Gina Steiner gave some insights on the connection between autonomy and alignment.
After that Tobias Gruber, Christian Müller, Sebastian Kurfürst (Karsten Dambekalns) and Gina Steiner shortly talked about the Neos values: https://www.neos.io/community/values.html
Bastian Waidelich, Christstian Müller and Gina Steiner gave a short overview on the current state of the teams and we added a fishbowl on the issue Do our teams work how they should?
Now everybody had the chance to put in issues he/she wanted to talk about.
Gather issues
We decided to first work on the issue Project vision and decided after this that we should dig deeper into it, by refining the question to How do we find out what we want to build for whom?
The third fishbowl was held on the issue Diversity.
And we ended up with a big bunch of ToDos regarding this.
Over the retro we gathered some ToDos, these ones we collected on a dedicated chart.
As usual we collected feedback to enhance future retros.
I want to thank everybody for the attendance, the spirit and the engaged participation.
